ForAges 4–10Garden activity tablesFamily and classroom coloring

Bee coloring pages follow 16 striped garden characters carrying bouquets, tending pots and visiting honey jars. A paper boat, painting easel and crescent moon give the bees places beyond the flower bed. Broad smiling faces remain easy to spot, but tiny petals, leaves and wing veins make many sheets a longer task. Start with the bee resting inside a tulip.

Ways to use these pages

1

Tulip resting place

Color the broad tulip petals first and leave a pale space around the little bee.

2

Flower delivery

Repeat three petal colors through the cart and tell who receives the flowers.

3

Paint beside the bee

Color the easel picture and make a separate sunflower painting with the same palette.

Choose a striped garden helper

The bee curled into a tulip has broad petals around one small face, making a useful first choice. The flowerpot hug and honey jar scenes put a large object beside the striped body. Leave the dark stripes as printed and add color to the lighter bands, then give the wings a pale shade. A bee in a watering can has a ladybug at its feet, while the bouquet picture includes a butterfly. Point out each visitor before coloring; small insects can be easy to miss among the flowers.

Use flowers to repeat colors

Daisies and smiling sunflowers appear as bouquets, potted plants and even the picture on a painter's easel. Pick a center color, then repeat it across several flowers while changing the petals. The wagon holds a particularly dense bunch, so it rewards working from one blossom to the next. The map reader and watering bee offer different garden tasks to talk about. Add a page from the ladybug gardens for spotted visitors, or use the flower sheets when a child wants the petals to be the main subject.

Give an outing its own setting

The paper boat scene includes pond reeds and a frog, while the swing hangs under a curving stem beside a large flower. The moon bee carries a lantern among stars and clouds, so it can use a completely different palette from the daylight gardens. Graduation, baking and painting props also give each character a role. Choose two pages and ask what happened between them: perhaps the gardener sailed home before preparing a cupcake. The bordered baking sheet and busy cart need smaller strokes around the edges; broader crayons can still handle the central bee before those details.

Happy coloring!

Choose a tulip resting place or a garden errand, then repeat your flower colors wherever the bee visits next.
