Ways to use these pages

1

Plan a broom trip

Choose two flying scenes and ask where the witch stops between them.

2

Find the recurring hat

Color the pointed hat the same way on two pages and change the scene around it.

3

Name the important prop

Ask each child to pick a wand, book, cat or cauldron and explain its role in the picture.

Choose the witch's next stop

Some witches travel: one floats past the moon, another flies with balloons, and another rides on a cat. Others stay busy at home, watering flowers, reading a spell book or stirring a tiny cauldron. Ask a child to choose one of each and describe where the witch went in between. The set stays in a playful storybook world; it does not require a frightening Halloween theme. If a child wants more costume-night pictures, the Halloween collection has a broader mix.

Color the repeating details

A pointy hat and broom return throughout the gallery, but the small details change: hearts, stars, bubbles, potion cups and jack-o'-lantern bags. Let children keep the hat one color across two pages, then change the scene around it. That makes it easier to notice how a picture changes with its setting. The pages with a single witch give a shorter starting point; cauldrons and starry skies offer more small spaces for a child who enjoys detail.

The repeated stars and bubbles also let a child make a two-color pattern without covering every empty space.

Make a picture prompt for a group

Give each child one witch scene and ask them to name the object that matters most: the broom, cat, book, wand or treat bag. Once colored, line the sheets up and invent a shared trip from one scene to the next. A classroom can use the class-set PDF for two smaller copies per sheet; a parent can download just the chosen card. For a companion character with a softer Halloween mood, try the ghost coloring pages.

These witches are playful: one flies with a cat, another tends a bubbling pot, and others carry pumpkin buckets or pause beneath stars. A single standing witch has broad clothing to color, while butterflies, potion bottles and bats make a slower page. Keep a favorite hat color across two pictures and invent a different destination for each broom ride.

Happy coloring!

Start with the broom ride, garden or cauldron that catches your child's eye. The Witches Coloring Book gathers the whole cast when you want a longer printable story session.
