ForAges 4–12Dirt Bike fansHome and classroom

These 20 dirt bike coloring pages follow helmeted riders from rocky trails and muddy puddles to a bridge, beach and race flag. Most center one bike with its knobby wheels clearly visible. Some scenes add animals, a waterfall or fireworks, while a rider resting beside a parked bike offers a quieter choice between the jumps.

Ways to use these pages

1

Keep a helmet color

Use the same helmet shade on two routes to make the rider feel like one character.

2

Compare the ground

Color rocks, mud and sand differently on three trail pictures.

3

Plan a route on paper

Print a start, a bridge or mountain, and a finish; tell the story in order.

Pick a trail by its background

The desert picture has rocks and cacti; the wooden bridge crosses water; palm trees frame a sandy route. Children can point to the large tires and helmet before coloring the smaller details. For a shorter session, choose the ramp or flag picture with more open space. The waterfall and animal scenes give someone more objects to work through.

Give the rider a consistent look

Pick one helmet color and reuse it on two or three sheets, as though the same rider is trying different routes. Color the bike frame next, then the knobby tire edges and ground. The resting rider lets children imagine a pause after the ride; a child can draw what the rider might see beyond the page. A second sheet with a different landscape shows how much a familiar bike changes when the surroundings change.

Make a beginning and finish

Put the two-rider start, a muddy or mountain route, and the race finish in order. Ask which path looked roughest and where the rider would stop for a break. The scenes are make-believe illustrations; their cliffs, volcano and fireworks are story details rather than riding advice. The small ramp is useful for spotting how the bike is lifted above the ground.

Compare the straight ramp sheet with a rocky trail before choosing a page. The ramp gives more breathing room around the rider; the landscape pages reward slower work on the tread, helmet and small things beside the path.

Try another set of wheels

For a road vehicle with no rider, browse cars. Race car pages add pit crews and trophies, while the vehicle collection offers more kinds of transport. Each set gives children a different kind of wheel to notice.

Happy coloring!
