14 Rocket Coloring Pages: Stars, Moons and Storybook Launches Free printable PDF · color online
ForChildren who like vehicles and make-believe space tripsHome, library and classroom activity tablesCrayons for broad ships; pencils for castles, planets and stars
These rocket coloring pages send a pointed ship through make-believe skies. Four kittens watch one take off, a child astronaut rides another, and a rocket crosses above two smiling whales. Most drawings have wide bodies and fins with open space around them. Stars, clouds, planets and moon craters change the pace: choose a roomy launch for quick color or a castle and planet scene for patient work.

Ways to use these pages
Build a two-page flight
Choose one upright launch and one diagonal flight. Ask where the rocket started and what it passes next.
Color the same ship twice
Use one color plan on two similar rockets, then change every planet, cloud and star around them.
Pick a passenger
Print the astronaut and kitten scenes and let a child decide who gets a window seat on the next trip.
Watch a rocket lift off
Four kittens sit together below a rising rocket, while another launch appears beside a tall castle. A third ship rises from a field of stars, and one pushes up from thick, puffy clouds. The pointed nose, round window and two fins repeat across these pictures, so children can recognize the vehicle even when the setting changes. Try coloring the rocket body first and leaving the sky open until the end. The castle sheet has little towers and windows that make it a longer project; the straight rocket beside a cart of smiling planets gives broader spaces. The spaceship coloring pages show other ways to draw a space vehicle.
Fly past stars and planets
Some rockets tip diagonally past ringed planets, small moons and shooting stars. One passes Earth and Saturn, another crosses a moon landscape, and a third launches from a round cratered moon. The change of angle makes the repeated rocket silhouette feel like a different moment in the same trip. A child can use one color for all three ships and change the planets, or invent a fresh spacecraft each time. The broad rocket crossing a shooting-star sky makes a quick print; the castle and busier star fields take more pauses. The space coloring pages provide possible destinations.
Find the small passenger
A child astronaut rides one rocket through a cloud of stars. Elsewhere a pair of smiling suns watches a ship pass, and a sleepy sun sits beside another rocket near the ground. These scenes use faces and characters to invite a story without needing a technical explanation of spaceflight. Ask where the astronaut is going, or which sun saw the launch first. If a child wants to color the person rather than the vehicle, the astronaut coloring pages give that subject its own collection.
Choose a surprising destination
The last group mixes familiar space shapes with playful ideas. Two whales appear below a flying rocket, and another ship travels under an arched sky with little towers. These are imagined scenes rather than diagrams of real rockets. The whale page has two broad animals that balance the ship's fins, while the arch and starbursts offer a little more detail. Print a launch and a destination together, then let a child tell what happened between the two pictures. The whale coloring pages continue the ocean half of that odd little story.
Happy coloring!
Pick one wide rocket body for a short session, or follow it through the stars, moons and unexpected passengers in a longer story.

Questions
Which rocket pictures have the largest spaces?
The rocket beside the planet cart and the one crossing a shooting-star sky have broad central ships and fewer tiny background objects.
Do any rockets have passengers?
Yes. One drawing shows a child astronaut riding a rocket. Other sheets place kittens, smiling planets, suns or whales nearby.
Are these realistic rocket diagrams?
No. These are simple storybook ships with round windows, pointed noses and fins in imagined space scenes.
Can I print a single page or the whole book?
Every selected rocket drawing has its own PDF. The Rockets Coloring Book gathers the sheets into one printable PDF.
Can children color the rockets online?
Yes. Open a sheet and choose Color Online to fill that rocket scene in the browser.
