30 Nature Coloring Pages: Rivers, Flowers and Woodland Paths Free printable PDF · color online
ForChildren who like outdoor placesFamilies making a quiet nature-themed activityGroups comparing weather and scenery
These nature coloring pages offer places to explore on paper: a river bending around stones, lily pads on a still pond, blossoms beside a path and dandelion seeds crossing the sky. Some scenes leave broad water or open clouds for quick color. Others ask for patience with repeated petals, leaves or the lattice of a rose arch. Pick a view, then choose its weather and season.

Ways to use these pages
Follow the stream
Point to where the river begins and where it leaves the page.
Change the sky
Color one sheet for morning and another for a rainy or moonlit day.
Plan a paper walk
Place a meadow, river and trellis scene in a walking order.
Follow the water first
Water gives several pictures a clear route. One rocky river curves through rows of pines; another bends past two rounded trees. The waterfall drops into a pool, while lilies rest on much quieter ponds. Start with the longest water shape and color the stones or banks afterward. This makes it easier to see where the stream turns. The small lake with two lilies has the broadest open water and is the Easy pick in this set. For more wooded settings beyond these rivers, see the forest coloring pages.
Notice what fills the foreground
Some scenes put flowers closest to the viewer: a sunny meadow has a row of daisies, and the sunset page sets blooms below two trees. Other sheets use rocks, grass clumps or reeds in that lower strip. A child can color one near flower first, then choose a lighter shade for distant hills. The blossom-tree path is a longer project because both crowns contain many small petals. The dandelion page asks for an even steadier tip where seeds break away from four round heads. More close-up blooms are in the flower coloring pages.
Let the sky change the scene
The pictures do not all suggest the same time or weather. A crescent moon sits above two trees, a bright sun hangs over rolling hills, and smiling rain clouds pass over a small tree. Wind bends one tree and sends dandelion seeds across another sky. Try coloring two similar landscapes differently: a pale morning for the sunny meadow and a cooler evening for the moonlit garden. The open cloud shapes leave room for a soft background, while the leaves and rain provide smaller marks to return to. This is a color choice, not a claim that every tree or season is shown accurately.
Make a paper nature walk
Choose three sheets as stops: a meadow, a river and the garden entrance with two roses on its trellis. Arrange them in an order a walker might visit. What would they hear near the water, and what grows beside the arch? The rose lattice has many narrow crossed spaces, so it can wait for a longer coloring session. A child may want to fill only the roses and leaves first, then continue the arch later. The individual PDFs make it easy to print a short route; the book gathers all 30 scenes when the family wants more choices.
Happy coloring!
Choose a water path, flower field or tree arch, then let the visible weather and near details guide the colors.

Questions
Which nature page has the most open space?
The small lake with two lily flowers has wide water and sky areas. The rose trellis and dandelion seeds need a finer tip and more time.
Are there rainy nature pictures?
Yes. One sheet shows two smiling rain clouds over a tree and flowers. Other scenes show sun, moon or wind.
Can I print a few nature scenes instead of the whole book?
Yes. Every drawing has its own PDF. The Nature Scenes Coloring Book combines all 30 selected pages.
Can I color these landscapes online?
Yes. Open a sheet and choose Color Online to use that same scene in the browser.
